Surface Design/Dyers Focus Group
Surface Design, Learn to Dye Focus Group will meet Wednesday, May 27, 1-3 at Pat Kimble’s home.
For those that did the rust surface dye, we will be dying those rust pieces in indigo on May 27th (4th Wed) at 1 pm at Pat Kimble’s house. Later this year we will set up some whole cloth vat dying with rice resist.
Depending upon the weather (need the sun), we will either do Sun Dying with Setacolor dyes and leaves or shapes in June or July. Alternating with another surface design.
Our group challenge is to complete either a bag or wall hanging by the July meeting on July 24, 2026.
