Quilt Talk Focus Group
Quilt Talk now meets 1-3 pm on the 2nd Thursday of the month at Good Shepherd Lutheran, Rochester. Next meeting Thursday Jan 8.
Big changes for our group. We will now be meeting at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Rochester and I changed our meeting time to 1 -3 pm. Our old start time of 2 pm was to accommodate meeting in a restaurant while avoiding the lunch rush. Hopefully this new time will work for everyone.

Here’s our agenda
1. Ice breaker. What has inspired you this past month? A new quilting pattern? A luscious piece of fabric? A color scheme from a sunrise? Let’s talk about it and inspire each other.
2. Field trip to view the MN Contemporary Quilters Exhibit in Lakeville on Thursday January 29 (date change from earlier posting). Leslie will fill in the details at the meeting.
3. What does our group want to accomplish this year? Are you open to a Skill Building series? I have some ideas, maybe you do too?
4.. Topic for discussion/show and tell: Donation Quilts. What are your favorite places to donate? What has been your experience in donating? Do you have a pattern that works well? Bring samples of those you haven’t given away yet.
5. Some focus groups meet for lunch prior to their meeting. Those who want to and have time, gather for lunch at a nearby restaurant to chat and get to know each other. Would you like to do that?
