Weaver’s Focus Group

Weavers will meet, Thursday, August 6, from 10 to noon at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.  For our August 6th meeting we will be looking at Swedish Huck Weaving. Not only the weave structure itself, but how it can be embellished with a surface embroidery commonly called Swedish Huck Weaving. Terinee will have some examples of this to share as well as some (mass produced) Huck material for those that want to try some surface design of your own. Embroidery Floss or Pearl cotton work great for this as they are colorfast. Feel free to bring some options to work with and try out. I will have some of my own Pearl cotton available as well.
