Deadline for entries into Gallery 24

Julie Yost is curating the monthly exhibition at Gallery 24 in August and the theme is “Art as Medicine”.   Julie states, “From a Guild standpoint, this was an important message of our 5Oth anniversary celebration last year. Individually, I think we all realize fiber work is meditative, calming & for many of us, therapeutic.

That is why I would like to invite you to share a piece of your work at Gallery 24’s August Exhibition. In addition to fiber art being therapeutic, I believe fiber artists need more representation in the art world & this would be an excellent opportunity. There is absolutely no charge the first time you display your art in our monthly themed exhibits. (It is $15 if you choose to display additional months through the year, but the first time in a calendar year is always free.) Your work can be for sale or it can strictly be for display purposes only – Not For Sale – it’s your choice.

Each month we host a Reception on the 2nd Thursday to honor the artists who are displaying in our themed exhibit. This is open to the public and I invite you to attend. It is a fun time to mingle with other artists.”
