Several members of the Weaving Focus Group took a road trip to the Vesterheim Museum in Decorah, IA on Thursday, June 4th. Laurann Gilbertson, the Chief Curator gave a fabulous tour which including a look into the storage area and seeing weavings and other textiles that the public doesn’t often get to see. After words, a pizza lunch, a visit to the local knit shop, and a stop at Seed Savers. Good inspirations and a fun time!
