Weaver’s Focus Group at Lori Feltis Studio
On September 11th several members of the Weaving Focus Group met at Lori Feltis studio/ shed near Stewartville. As you can tell from the pictures they have a great time and learned a lot! Notice the treadle adaption for Sandy- blocks of wood so her large shoes she wears can fit to press them!

Spinners Demo at the History Center
The Spinners Focus Group spent Saturday afternoon (August 8th) at the History Center demonstrating various spinning wheels and giving lots of information on how yarn is made. The new display features different tools and spinning wheels and a large variety of yarns that different types of wool will give. This is a “must see” display!
