The Weavers Focus Group did a road trip to see a show called Art Reach in Stillwater. This was a Small Expressions traveling exhibit put on by the Handweavers Guild of America. This touring exhibit was a juried showcase of contemporary small-scale fiber art using techniques such as weaving, interlacing, basket making, bead weaving, embroidery, felting, and mixed media. Small in scale but visually compelling. A visit to a beautiful yarn shop called, “Darn Knit,” made for a great ending for an inspiring day.
